A WARM WINTER FOR EVERYONE
DONATIONS ACCEPTED AT ALL FESTIVAL VENUES & WINTER LIGHT HQ (9654 Jasper Ave.)


We're lucky to be enjoying winter - bundled up and close to the fire. But winter can be hard, and everyone should be safe and comfortable.

 

Share the Warmth is a campaign to redistribute warm socks, mittens, parkas, scarves and toques to people in need, and to agencies that serve the inner city community.

Items should be clean and warm. Wool socks are particularly useful.  Family items as well as adult sizes are welcome. Recreation clothing and helmets are especially appreciated for our events at ski hills.

Donations for Share the Warmth will be accepted at the Winter Light office, our festival sites, and at Snow Valley. And of course, most agencies will accept donations directly. Give them a call and see if you can help.

Share the Warmth - - Bring a donation of warm socks, parkas, mitts or toques to any Winter Light event, and Winter Light will distribute all items through inner city agencies.
